I haven't really been in the mood to cook much since Thanksgiving, but I've discovered I'm a lot more apt to do so if I have a fully stocked refrigerator and pantry. And yet, I have a half gallon of milk in my fridge that expired a week ago.
Actually, I've been cooking a lot lately. I think I've only eaten frozen food once in the last week and a half, two weeks.
The night I ate cereal, I was still hungry after my Caesar Salad (with homemade dressing) and smoked salmon. I also find cereal to be a good snack for after work, but before working out. And, the fact that I had fresh milk in the fridge is a major coup.
The content of this blog is mostly triathlon and fitness related. I feel passionately that working out and setting physical fitness goals is an essential part of maintaining self-esteem and work-life balance, i.e. the Greek notion of a sound mind in a sound body. In my mind, it's better to run a 5K and come in last place than to never try.

So you went from meatballs to cereal in one week?
